Hi, I'm ML, short for Marie-Line. I've been working with digital technology since the early days of the internet. That was an exciting time, and AI is giving me that same feeling all over again. There's so much we can do now that wasn't possible even a few years ago.
Here, I share what I'm discovering, what I've learned through experience and some of the questions I'm exploring. I hope it helps make sense of what's happening and opens up a few possibilities you might not have considered.
I love figuring things out and finding connections.
I've always had a wide range of interests. When something catches my attention, I tend to dig into it. I want to understand how it works, what the research says and whether there's a better way to do it. I especially enjoy those moments when things click, or when I find connections I hadn't noticed before.
I've spent my career building for the web and helping businesses make better use of technology. Today, I run ThriveLine, where my team and I work with businesses on digital strategy, websites, AI and automation.
My interests have also taken me well beyond technology. I've worked with ocean scientists, spent time in the Amazon and lived in different parts of the world. Those experiences have shaped how I see the world and the questions I ask.
I'm fascinated by AI and what it's making possible. I spend a lot of time researching new developments, experimenting with tools and exploring how technology connects with business, people and the world around us.
Here, I share what I discover along the way. Sometimes it's something useful I've tried, a claim I wanted to investigate or an interesting connection. Other times it's a book, a new idea or a question I'm still exploring.

There's so much happening in AI right now. I spend a lot of time reading research, experimenting with new tools and following developments. Even with my background in technology, it's difficult to keep up with everything.
That's why I want to share what I'm finding. I enjoy going back to original sources, questioning some of the headlines and finding connections between ideas that might not seem related at first.
I'm optimistic about AI and what it could help us accomplish, but I also want to understand the challenges and consider different perspectives.
